Frying pan sets

BergHOFF frying pan sets with two to four pans in different sizes, so the right pan is always at hand: a smaller one for eggs, a larger one for family meals. Some sets also include a grill pan, a pancake pan and a turner.

Every set works on all hobs, induction included. The non-stick pans have a PFAS-free CeraGreen coating and are oven-safe up to 180 °C; the Helix stainless steel pans up to 250 °C.

Pans: frequently asked questions

Which frying pan size should I choose?

20–24 cm pans suit one or two portions, eggs and side dishes. 28 cm is the most versatile size for everyday family cooking. Choose 30–32 cm for larger portions or batch cooking. The diameter is stated in every product name.

Non-stick or stainless steel – which is better?

A non-stick pan is the easiest choice for eggs, pancakes, fish and everyday cooking with little oil. A stainless steel pan is best for searing, browning and high heat, and it lasts for years. Many kitchens use both: non-stick for delicate food, stainless steel for meat.

Which pans work on induction?

All frying pans in our range work on induction as well as on gas, electric, ceramic and halogen hobs – BergHOFF's product data confirms this for every pan we sell. The hob types are also listed in the specification of each product.

Can I put my pan in the oven?

Yes, up to a temperature set by the handle and the coating. Non-stick pans: up to 180 °C (Balance, Glints, most Helix, most Stone+) or 230 °C (Graphite, most Phantom). Stainless steel pans (Helix, Graphite): up to 250 °C. Graphite cast iron grill pan: up to 280 °C. The exact limit is in the specification of each pan. Use an oven glove – handles get hot.

How do I make my pan last longer?

Heat the pan on low to medium heat, use wooden or silicone utensils on coated pans and let the pan cool before washing. Washing by hand with a soft sponge keeps a coating in good condition for longer. Always follow the care instructions for your model.
